Our Projects

The plan of (SCRB) for the year 2008

        The cost of the projects mentioned in the (scrb) plan for 2008 are estimated about

(1758 577 000) Thousand dinar and annual budget (190 718 000) thousand dinar and as follows.

 1- The ongoing projects:  evaluated cost (1 477 077 000) thousand dinar and annual budget estimated  (186 718 000) thousand diner including :-  

A-  Second carriageways for the main roads like ( Dakuk-Tooze,  Kut-  Nasseriya , Kalis – Ethaim , Kassak - Rabea'a and part of Mousul - Dohook road  (14km) ).

B-   Fixed bridges (Awasha , Kala'at Salih , Alwarar, Al Amerreia, Hadetha, Third Baquba , Aljazeera, Iz AlDeen , Alsuwair , Third Falluja and Osby Ban Gas ).

C-  Reconstruction of bridges damaged by war activities ( Al-Fatha , Al-Abasiyat , Al-Qurna second Br. Kalid Bin Al-Waleed, Al-Qaqa'a , Al-Latefiya and bridge on Shat Al-Basra).

D-  Replacement of the floating bridges with fixed ones ( Al-Fadliya , AL-Batha’a, Al-Sindiya, Al-Beayji , Al-Saqlawiya,Al-Rumana and Jewezrat ).

E-   New roads and intersections (Al-Mahmodeia bypass, , Rawa – Al_Hathar road , 18.5 Km length road from Kalis- Ethaim,  connect Al-Ramady city with expressway No (1), Al-Zuhoor interchange, Tel afat - Tel Abta and Kifil - Kassim)

F- a group of rural roads in the governorrates.

G- Expressway No (1) sec. Diwaneia- Nassereia - R/6 (Left & Right side) .

  2- The new projects:- Total cost ( 259 500 000) thousand  dinar        and annual budget ( 4 000 000) thousand dinar  including:-

A- Construction of fixed bridges ( Al-Karthiya bridge and approaches).

              B-Reconstruction of bridges damaged with war activities( Al-                 Qayara, Palastin , Shinshal , Al-Quwair , Zghetoon, ,                  ImamWais, Akarkuf ,Asky Mousul and Thira'a Dijla).

  3- The projects funded by American grant: - Its cost 240 million USD including :-

A-    Rural roads all over the country with total length about 800km.

B-   Al-Shirqat bridge and approaches, Shaik Saad bridge, Al-Kuffa third bridge, , accomplishment of railroad bridge , accomplishment of Zubba` oil field bridge,

C-   The second carriagway of (Diwaneya- Samawa road ),

 Accomplishment of Baghdad - Kirkuk second carriageway .

 4- Maintenance Plan :- The total budget for maintenance for the year 2008 ( 58 milliard Dinar ) including ongoing projects from the last year containing rehabilitation , maintenance, overlaying , improving, widening roads all over the country as well as the maintenance  of floating and fixed bridges in addition to the construction & maintenance of culverts of different kinds.
